Liqi: Yes, indeed. It locks tightly by its special Sealing System and we have also innovated in other areas. The W series has a leg that can be converted into a waterproof monopod, a Split Center Column that can be converted into a short center column and so on.

 

Photographer BBS: As you say, with those characteristics, W series can be used in sand or near the sea easily. If the sand gets into the tube, it may cause awful damage. This series prevents dust or small particles from entering the legs that may cause an egative effect. Tripods have already become an outstanding product for SIRUI.I also heard that SIRUI released another new product, camera bags, and Mr. Li brought one of them here today. Mr. Li, may I get some information about this camera bag?

 

Liqi: This is one style of SIRUI Backpacks, we call it the "Weekender,"because it's perfect for a trip over a weekend. It's very convenient, since it's not only a photo bag. We've designed it to easily convert into a travel backpack. The space of the photo backpack can be increased a lot by expanding the top compartment, as it's retractable. This is a feature unique to our Weekender Photo Backpack.

 

Photographer BBS: The space of the bag can be doubled?

 

Liqi: Yes. Look, when you expand the top compartment, the upper part gets more space for putting more stuff, like clothes and other supplies. If you just need the bag for your photography equipment, you can just fold down the upper compartment, which is very easy and makes the bag look casual. The design of the photo bag is very creative: there's a side opening for easy access to your equipment and a convenient, removable camera insert. Photographer BBS: The design of the bag is very creative, especially the top compartment which can be expanded for great space. We can put some clothes or accessories into the bags and expand the space of the bag according to our requirement. Also, there is a side opening for easy access to the equipment, which is similar to most of the backpacks. We know SIRUI is a famous manufacturer of tripod/monopod, but this year you release the photo bag series, Is there any plan for this?

 

Liqi: We've been making tripod bags for years, this year we released two series of photo bags-Shoulder bags & Backpacks. There are 5 models for the shoulder bags, and 4 models for the backpacks. These are the beginning of the bags we plan to be making. The market of the photo bag is still big, so we SIRUI have confidence to get good sales of them.

 

Photographer BBS:SIRUI's new products are really creative. We hope that SIRUI can make more creative products in camera bag line.I know that besides tripod and camera bags,SIRUI is doing research and development of camera lens, Is it true? Can I get some information about this?

 

Liqi: It's true. We have invested a lot of money researching this product category, since we gained the support of the local government last year. In the early stage, we will focus on making E-mount prime lenses for Sony and in the future, we plan to make zoom lenses.

 

Photographer BBS: Could you please advise some specific details like the number of this product, its model or standard?

 

Liqi: All I could tell you is that the lenses can only fit the E-mount camera of Sony. Maybe we'll make larger aperture lenses.

 

Photographer BBS: As for us, SIRUI is an old cooperative partner, I see that SIRUI is truly producing more and more new products such as tripods, Humidity control cabinets and camera bags, which means the product line is expanding. Can I ask what is the future plan of SIRUI? Do you have some new projects?

 

Liqi: Okay. SIRUI has made big adjustment for the market. We keep improving for the photographic equipment market. In 2014 and 2015, we've made big adjustments and changes for the continuing growth of sales. SIRUI will develop new products in order to meet the market and consumers requirements.
